We joined Shaklee because of health problems and when we changed brands of nutrional supplements our health improved so much we "fell in love with Shaklee". Then when we saw the opportunity we really got excited. We realized that the secret to big success in this business is not just in "selling the product" but in helping people become successful. I could see how we could achieve financial independence and flexibility and a much better lifestyle by building a shaklee organizations. The potential was so much greater than anything else we could have done. Our tremendous lifestyle was achieved by helping a lot of people get what they want.
Susan had previously been a medical Technologist but had been a "stay at home Mom" for 10 years. She saw it as a way to build an organization that could develop serious royalty income and give her security if anything happened to Ray while allowing her to be home with our sons and work the business around our family. Ray was a Principal Design Engineer at Ford Motor Company and loved his job but knew there was no security in a job situation and didn't like the long hours at work. He wanted more time with the family and a less stressful lifestyle.
We built the business on a part time basis for three years to achieve the top rank, earning a 6 figure income and allowing Ray the ability to quit his job at Ford. We have since built one of the largest organizations in the company. We have continued to help others achieve their dreams in Shaklee for the love of doing it.
For the past 33 years we have lived a life we could never have imagined - all because of Shaklee. We have been able to travel the globe with our family and friends free with Shaklee. We have made so many wonderful friends, met fabulous people and had so much fun doing this. Because of Shaklee, we were able to moved south out of the cold midwest winters. We built our dream house on beautiful Lake Lanier in north Gorgia where we live most of the year. Our winter home is in Naples Florida.
